Partial dentures

A partial denture can replace some missing teeth. Its design considers the remaining teeth, support and space for cleaning.

Full dentures

When an arch has no natural teeth, a full removable denture may be considered. The shape of the mouth and condition of the gums affect stability and comfort.

Implant-supported options

Implants can help support some dentures, but require a separate implant assessment. They are not necessary or suitable for everyone.

Frequently asked questions

Explore common questions, then discuss what is suitable for you at an individual assessment.

How long does it take to get used to dentures?

This varies. Speech and eating may feel different at first, but persistent pain or obvious rubbing should be checked rather than endured.

How do I clean them?

Remove and clean all surfaces as directed, using products suited to the material. Clean your mouth and remaining teeth as well.

Does a loose denture always need replacing?

No. Adjustment, relining or repair may be possible after checking the denture and changes in your mouth.

Do I still need dental check-ups?

Yes. The gums, oral tissues and fit of your dentures need regular assessment.
